We are the highest level technology consultants, but also inventors and developers of advanced technologies, which can be jointly implemented
With Electrical energy storage is likely the biggest technological challenge of this generation and electrochemical devices, batteries, fuel cells, and supercapacitors are on the forefront of the drive for efficient energy storage in portable, motive, and stationary applications.
Batteries have provided solutions for the largest number of applications, but their performance still falls short of increasing demand requirements.
With Electrical energy storage is likely the biggest technological challenge of this generation and electrochemical devices, batteries, fuel cells, and supercapacitors are on the forefront of the drive for efficient energy storage in portable, motive, and stationary applications.
An energy storage device must deliver power for a long time, must have ability to deliver high current when needed, must be light weight and small volume, operate for high number of cycles and long time, be safe and environmentally friendly, and be manufactured from cheap and readily available materials. None of the currently available energy storage devices meets all these and constantly increasing requirements.

While electrical vehicles are on the forefront of the industry revolution in developed countries, the majority of countries in Africa, Asia, and South America stand very little chance of significantly converting their transportation to electrical cars and reducing carbon emissions in the next several decades. However, a grand opportunity of a global proportion presents itself with low-speed vehicles (micro Evs), prominent in developing countries. Converting those vehicles, such as 3-wheel popular bajaji (or Ricksha) and golf carts, to battery power is a historical opportunity to bring the electrical transportation to developing countries.
There are more than 250 million 3-wheel vehicles in developing countries. They are powered using internal combustion engines and fossil fuels (i.e., gasoline or compressed natural gas) and generate enormous amounts of carbon emissions.
We are the MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) experts, we have the experience of managing teams of hundreds of engineers working on all aspects of MEMS devices, such as pressure sensors, accelerometers, gyroscopes, and chemical sensors.
We have decades of experience in executive and research roles, and over 30 patents, and a record of bringing the MEMS products from a concept to market.
We consult on all aspects of MEMS, such as conception and design, product development, foundry reviews and fabrication.
We can also deliver training for any type of audience. We have taught over 30 MEMS short course with over 1000 of students; and can tailor these courses to any MEMS subtopic, duration, size or experience of participants, from novices to experts in the field.
The principals of NthGrid are the ultimate experts in electronic device compatibility. We have the experience of managing teams of 100s of engineers, working on various aspects of electronic devices and focusing on device reliability. Our record includes numerous papers, patents, and short courses in the field of device reliability.
With extensive experience in the sensor field we can offer consulting, any type of analysis, as well as conceptualizing products, preparing proposals and grant application.
We have developed medical devices for virus detection and treatment, including Covid virus. Our proprietary IP, supported by issued US patents is available for development, purchase or other options. Read here about our virus treatment device.
With decades, over 30 years of combined experience in higher education, we are well positioned to develop new programs, from short courses to certificated degrees and complete academic undergraduate and graduate programs.
See here our proposal a new academic program in energy engineering. This program can be initiated anywhere, but it’s particularly recommended for underdeveloped countries in Africa and Asia.
Here is an example of outline for a short course in MEMS devices.
